A high performance range of antennas covering a wide range of frequencies, from 27 MHz to 470 MHz. The Scorpions have a rugged design and are suitable for all vehicle applications. The cast base utilizes advanced production techniques and is finally machined and chrome plated. The base, requiring a 19 mm mounting hole, is designed to allow the antennas angle to be adjusted by 95 ° in either direction, allowing optimal polarisation. The radiating element comprises of a 17/7 PH stainless steel whip connected to a stainless spring, with the exception of the Scorpion 50, which has the steel whip connected directly to the base. The style of the shock spring is determined by the model and the frequency range required.

The remarkable MA-XDX-DB dualband antenna provides coverage of both the 2m and 70cm bands in a single compact whip. Providing 3dBi gain on 70cm (unity gain on 2m), it is a neat and unobtrusive solution. Available in through-body mount or magnetic mount options, it is versatile too. As it utilises a standard swivel mount base, as is used by many commercial antenna types, the whip can be purchased separately to utilise your existing antenna mounts. Both through-body mount (standard 19mm hole) and magnet base include 5m of coaxial cable (connector not included)
